“The past couple of years I’ve been pretty deep into a lot of singer songwriters, especially female vocalists with a lot of grit and heartache in their voices. I feel thats influenced the melody writing/playing style on this record I think... Anyway, this is the first tune I wrote out of all the songs for this album, and it certainly shaped the sound/direction. I wanted to have an almost romantic melody underpinning a heavy cacophony of sound. It’s also the the only tune without a back story from the album. The goal is simply to get in your face and and get out.”
